This book takes a refreshingly new look at the Power of Intention by discussing the Law of Agreement. More than just a spin or semantic game, the author’s perspective it actually opens up a deeper way of thinking about and acting upon our desires.

As Burroughs explains in his introduction, the fundament difference between the laws of allowing or attracting, and that of “agreement,” is that agreeing actually “reinforces reality.” The beauty of this is that the more people who are in agreement, the greater the positive effect this can have upon reality. This empowers us to use the practice of “intending,” for such personal matters as acquiring a place to live or a better income, and for global matters as well, such as improving the environment and working toward world peace.

Equally important, is Burroughs’ notion of withdrawing agreement. He explains that by withholding our agreement from issues such as war, bigotry, or political oppression we can weaken their power and eventually conquer them altogether.

This optimistic book offers inspiring lessons and practical insight about the power of intention, developed from personal experience and from the experiences of the author’s students. It is a great reminder that human potential truly has no limits.
