This is a video trailer for my upcoming book, Sacred Economics, which is coming to bookstores on July 12, as well as on the Internet. It begins with the question, "What is it about money that makes it the enemy of a more beautiful world, not to mention our own most noble, generous impulses?" It describes the economic crisis that is ongoing today, and the transition that lies before us to a different kind of money system, putting it in a vast historical context. The book's subtitle is "Money, Gift, and Society in the Age of Transition." There is another book called Sacred Economics coming out next month -- a fine book, but not to be confused with mine.
