Billee Sharp was a contemporary art curator and gallerist in London before moving to San Francisco in 1993, where she then started a family, a record label and a green cleaning business. Following in the tradition of Mrs Beeton, whose Book of Household Management became the standard guide to all aspects of running a household in Victorian Britain, Billee has put her accumulated wisdom about healthy cleaning and healthy living into a very useful little book, Lemons and Lavender - the eco guide to better homekeeping.
