Intuitive Self-Healing is a fantastic guide to chakras, self-analysis, and health care. Easy to read and understand, Marie Manuchehri takes us on a tour of the chakra system and underlines the benefits of tuning in to ourselves for a deeper healing experience.

Manuchehri spent years as a registered nurse before becoming an energy intuitive. She now has her own practice and believes that our bodies know what our health issues are, so by becoming more intuitive, we can learn to heal ourselves. She urges us to become more active in fulfilling a healthy life.

The first chapter introduces us to the concept of intuitive self-healing. Chapters two to eight examine each of the seven main chakras in turn. Case studies are used to illuminate the benefits of working with each chakra and these really bring this book to life. The final chapter gives advice on scanning the body and the human aura.

A useful guide at the back of the book lists each chakra, its color, location, diseases, its link to emotional health, and exercises. Throughout the book, exercises such as grounding through visualization, one-minute balancing, and releasing pent-up emotion are given, which are easy to follow and use. The author also includes ways to introduce chakras to children.

This book is highly recommended for anyone new to working with chakra systems or who would like to learn more about body awareness and intuitive self-healing.
