Tips to top the listings
When you update your profile frequently – even with an RSS feed – you will have more opportunities to rise to the top of the listings and attract readers.
Here are a few more tips:
- Fill in your profile with your picture and bio – a blank avatar is boring!
- Contribute blogs and events regularly to cultivate followers
- Post videos and trailers – they’re fun!
- Offer a book giveaway, quiz or contest
- Lead a Q&A discussion group for readers about your book or topic
- Expand your following by participating in discussions on your profile, and on the site
